Egis, an international firm active in the fields of architecture, consultancy, construction engineering and transportation services, is looking to recruit a Senior Interior Designer with a focus on site supervision to complete its team in Dubai.
Job Description:
Develop and present innovative and functional designs for residential and commercial projects
Monitor the execution of designs on site and ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
Collaborate with architects, contractors and other stakeholders to resolve design and implementation issues
Manage project schedules, budgets and resources
Regularly visit the site and resolve implementation challenges
Ensure compliance with local safety and building regulations and standards
Provide guidance and advice to junior designers
Interact directly with clients to understand needs and provide design solutions
Follow current industry trends, sustainable design and new materials
Qualification requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in interior design or related fields
At least 15 years of work experience in interior design with a focus on site supervision
Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp and similar)
Full knowledge of building codes and regulations in Dubai
Strong project management skills and ability to implement Multiple projects at the same time
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
Experience in sustainable design is an advantage
Professional certifications (such as NCIDQ or BIID) are an advantage
Willingness to travel to various sites in Dubai
Fluent in English; familiarity with Arabic is an advantage.
