Applicants will no longer need to submit passports and original documents in person at Thai missions in the UAE.
According to a notice issued by the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi, starting January 1, 2025, at 7:00 AM, all visa applications must be submitted through the new e-Visa platform.
To apply, applicants must first create an account on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, complete the application form, and upload the required documents. The visa fee must be paid online, and a receipt will be sent to the registered email.
Important Notes:
– Ensure the accuracy and correct spelling of all information, as any errors may result in the rejection of the application.
– During the e-Visa review process, the embassy may request additional documents or require an in-person interview if necessary.
– Once the application is approved, a confirmation email will be sent to the applicant. A printed copy of this email must be presented to airline officials at departure and immigration authorities in Thailand.
The last day for in-person visa submissions at the Royal Thai Embassy in Abu Dhabi is December 24, 2024 (for collection on December 26, 2024).
