Dubai drivers will soon have the opportunity to remove four negative points from their driving license as part of the UAE Ministry of Interior’s “Accident-Free Day” initiative. The event will take place on Monday, August 25, coinciding with the first day of the new school year.
Drivers who register for the Traffic Safety Pledge before this date and commit no violations on the designated day will have four black points removed from their license electronically by Monday, September 15.
The campaign aims to promote a culture of responsible driving and enhance road safety. Key points include maintaining a safe distance, stopping and giving priority to pedestrians, wearing seat belts at all times, observing speed limits, avoiding handheld mobile phone use while driving, staying within designated lanes, and giving way to emergency vehicles and official convoys.
