In observance of the Islamic New Year holiday, all public parking in Dubai — except for multi-level parking — will be free on Friday, June 27. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced that regular parking fees will resume on Saturday, June 28.
Public transportation services will also see schedule changes during the holiday. Dubai Metro will operate from 5:00 AM until 1:00 AM the following day, while the Dubai Tram will run from 6:00 AM to 1:00 AM.
All customer service centers and vehicle testing centers will be closed on Friday and will resume operations on Saturday. However, the smart customer happiness centers in Umm Ramool, Deira, Al Barsha, and the main headquarters will remain operational 24/7.
Residents are advised to use the Shail app or the RTA app for up-to-date schedules of buses and marine transport services.
