A 29-year-old Indian resident of Abu Dhabi has been named the winner of the biggest prize in Emirates Draw history — AED 100 million.
Emirates Draw, in its 23rd Lucky Day Draw held on October 18 (Draw No. 251018), officially announced Anil Kumar Bola as the lucky winner of the record-breaking jackpot.
Anil, a loyal participant since the lottery’s launch, was at home resting when he received the life-changing call from the Emirates Draw team. He said:
“When they called, I thought it was a joke. I asked them several times to repeat the message. It took me a while to believe it — even now, it still feels unreal.”
Anil matched all seven winning numbers — beating odds of 1 in 8,835,372 — and claimed the entire AED 100 million prize on his own, with no other winners sharing the amount.
Alongside him, 10 other participants each won AED 100,000, making it one of the most memorable draws in Emirates lottery history.
Scott Burton, Chief Commercial Officer of Emirates Draw, said:
“This extraordinary win not only transforms Anil Kumar’s life but also marks a historic milestone for Emirates Draw. Our mission has always been to create real opportunities and provide a legal, exciting, and entertaining experience for participants.”
Since its inception, Emirates Draw has had over 200 winners of AED 100,000 prizes, distributing a total of more than AED 147 million in winnings.
