As November approaches, Dubai is gearing up to host one of the most popular sporting events of the year, Dubai Ride. The Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that, to facilitate participant attendance, all cycling enthusiasts can use Careem Bike for free on the day of the event.
This initiative is part of the Dubai Fitness Challenge, aiming to promote an active and sustainable lifestyle in the city.
Participants can enter the promo code DR25 in the Careem app to receive a free bike ride. Bikes will be available from 3:00 AM to 8:00 AM on November 2, 2025. Temporary stations will be set up at the Entrance A of the Museum of the Future (Trade Center Street) and Lower FCS at Financial Center Road.
Additionally, more than 200 Careem Bike stations across Dubai will be operational, allowing participants to easily pick up and drop off bikes. During this period, no charges will apply for rides longer than 45 minutes.
Hussain AlBanna, Director of the RTA Traffic and Roads Agency, said:
“Dubai Ride is part of our efforts to make Dubai a bike-friendly city. Collaborating with Careem Bike encourages people to embrace sustainable and safe mobility.”
Basel AlNahlawi, Careem’s Chief Commercial Officer, added:
“We are delighted to join RTA for the fourth consecutive year to make it easier for residents to access this sporting event and to promote a cycling culture in Dubai.”
Participants are required to register on the official Dubai Ride website and bring a helmet. Event routes will be open from 6:15 AM to 8:00 AM.
