The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Port Security (ICP) has announced that eligible individuals who currently reside outside the UAE can apply for a multiple-entry visa valid for 180 days from the date of their first entry. This initiative allows applicants to complete all required procedures for obtaining the Blue Residency Visa.

Professionals: Specialists employed in governmental or private environmental organizations within the UAE.

Program Background
In the first phase of this initiative, introduced during the World Governments Summit in February, 20 pioneers and innovators in the field of sustainability were granted the Blue Visa.
This initiative is part of the UAE’s long-term strategy for environmental protection and sustainable development. The Blue Visa complements the country’s existing Golden and Green residency programs. The electronic platform also enables relevant government entities to submit and manage endorsement requests directly through ICP’s website.
Benefits of the Blue Visa
Holders of the Blue Visa enjoy 10-year residency without the need for a local sponsor. They gain access to special services, collaboration opportunities in governmental and environmental projects, and are encouraged to contribute to the UAE’s climate action goals.
