Job Description:
As a Tailor, you play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality garment alterations and creations that meet the organization’s standards and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform minor repairs and alterations to staff uniforms to ensure a professional appearance.
Repair and adjust hotel curtains and draperies to maintain upholstery standards.
Maintain a daily log report of all repair and alteration tasks.
Manage maintenance needs of sewing machines, report sewing supply requirements to the Linen Room Supervisor, and maintain a clean and organized tailoring area.
Assist in managing fabric and material inventory within the hotel.
Perform small alterations for guest clothing, such as button replacements, upon request.
Comply with environmental, health, and safety standards in line with company policies.
Follow all company environmental, health, and safety procedures and guidelines.
