According to reports from visa agencies and travel companies, the issuance of tourist visas for Iranian passport holders has been temporarily suspended as of Thursday, June 19, 2025. At this time, new applications for tourist visas are not being accepted.
Although there has been no official announcement from the UAE government, multiple visa offices in cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi have confirmed this suspension. The decision appears to be linked to recent regional developments, and it may potentially extend to other types of visas, including business and family visas.
Some sources suggest that the suspension was issued following a directive from high-level Emirati authorities. Additionally, reports indicate that overstay fines for Iranian nationals currently in the UAE may also be waived.
