Dubai Municipality has announced that during the Eid Al-Fitr holidays, four public beaches will be exclusively allocated for families. These beaches include Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, Umm Suqeim 1, and Umm Suqeim 2.
The municipality has also deployed a team of 126 specialized personnel for safety, rescue operations, and overall management. The goal of this initiative is to regulate the number of visitors during Eid Al-Fitr, as public beaches usually experience high congestion during holidays and special occasions. This measure ensures a safe and comfortable beach experience for families.
Advanced logistical and rescue equipment has been provided to enhance emergency response operations and maintain the highest safety standards for beachgoers. Additionally, a field supervision team of 10 trained specialists will be responsible for crowd control, managing beach parking traffic, and overseeing overall security and operations at these beaches.
Previously, authorities had announced preparations for the anticipated increase in beach visitors. The municipality has reinforced security personnel, crowd management teams, and essential facilities to enhance public beach readiness. Furthermore, special measures have been implemented to improve accessibility for individuals with disabilities and the elderly, including dedicated pathways.
Moreover, Dubai Municipality has also prepared major parks and recreational destinations, such as Dubai Frame and Children’s City, to host a variety of entertaining activities and events throughout the Eid holidays.
