The Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF) returns for its 44th edition from November 5 to 16, 2025, at the Expo Centre Sharjah. Organized by the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA), this year’s fair will be held under the theme “Between You and a Book”, inspiring a global dialogue on the profound connection between readers and the written word.
The event is expected to host thousands of authors, renowned publishers, translators, and visitors from around the world, serving as a vibrant platform for cultural exchange and intellectual exploration.
The Hellenic Republic of Greece will be the official Guest of Honour, enriching the fair with a diverse cultural program centered on education and entertainment (edutainment). The program will feature theatrical performances, creative showcases, interactive workshops, and book signings. Additionally, Greece will present modern literary works, historical documents, and rare manuscripts, along with panel discussions featuring leading thinkers—celebrating Greece’s legacy as the birthplace of Hellenic civilization and its enduring contributions to science, philosophy, and art.
