Qatar has upgraded the one-month visa for residents of GCC countries to a two-month visa with multiple-entry options.
According to Qatar Tourism, this decision will be implemented from Sunday, November 30, through the Haya platform.
This change allows GCC tourists and residents to enter Qatar without time restrictions, participate in various events, and move freely within the country.
Qatari authorities have cited the increased travel demand following the hosting of the 2025 World Cup as the main reason for this initiative.
The Haya platform, serving as an integrated gateway, enables the application and management of electronic visas and access to events, offering five types of visas:
-
A1 – Tourist Visa
-
A2 – GCC Residents Visa
-
A3 – Electronic Travel Authorization
-
A4 – Accompanying Family of GCC Citizens Visa
-
F1 – Visa Exemption Request for U.S. Citizens
