Dubai Celebrates the New Year with Shah Rukh Khan in an Eight-Day Spectacle

Dubai is set to welcome the New Year in grand style as Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan arrives in the city, igniting excitement across social media. His presence coincides with the city’s preparations for one of the largest New Year celebrations in the world.
This year, Emaar introduces a new concept: an extended celebration lasting eight days, from December 31 to January 7, transforming Downtown Dubai into a continuous hub of art, entertainment, and celebration.
The event will feature art installations, technology-driven performances, live shows, street parades, drone displays, and large-scale visual spectacles, designed for both on-site audiences and millions of online viewers worldwide.
In addition to public celebrations, Burj Park will host a ticketed Bollywood-themed event in collaboration with Frontstage and Red Chillies Entertainment, the production company owned by Shah Rukh Khan. The experience will include live performances, parades, and a vibrant festival atmosphere.
Previous editions of Dubai’s New Year celebrations have attracted approximately 1.7 million in-person attendees and nearly 2 billion online viewers, making it one of the most watched global events of its kind.
