This project is the result of a collaboration between Mercedes-Benz and Momenta, a leading autonomous AI technology company. It strengthens the UAE’s position in the global race toward next-generation transportation.
The new fleet is built on Momenta’s Level 4 autonomous driving system and the Mercedes-Benz S-Class luxury platform, making it the first robotaxi service based on a mass-produced luxury vehicle.
UAE officials describe this tripartite partnership as a blend of top-tier engineering standards, advanced infrastructure, and rapid national innovation.
Commercial operations are planned to begin in Abu Dhabi in 2026, with expansion to other international markets to follow.
