An exciting challenge is coming to Abu Dhabi: the first-ever indoor Spartan Race in the UAE, called City, will take place on September 20 at Etihad Arena. Supported by the Abu Dhabi Sports Council, this unique event offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity for sports and fitness enthusiasts.
Unlike traditional outdoor Spartan races, this competition is held in a controlled indoor environment. The 3 km course with 15 thrilling obstacles is designed to challenge both beginners and seasoned athletes. Families and spectators can also enjoy watching the action up close, making it a truly spectacular event.
Special kids’ races are also included:
1 km for ages 4–6
1.5 km for ages 7–9
3 km for ages 9–14
All participants will receive a Spartan T-shirt and medal upon completion. Obstacles include classics such as rope climbs, spear throws, cargo nets, and brand-new challenges.
