A new luxury lifestyle trend is taking over Dubai: home ice baths. The city’s wealthy residents are spending up to AED 70,000 to install these baths in their homes — turning what was once a simple recovery tool for athletes into a symbol of social status and extreme wellness culture.
Two pioneering companies, Tech View, led by Houman Sadrpanah, and Key, led by John Davies, were among the first to enter this market. They noticed that traditional ice baths lacked the aesthetic appeal required for luxury homes. To fill this gap, they designed products that combine functionality with high-end interior design.
Prices vary significantly depending on the design and materials used. Tech View offers models ranging from a portable inflatable tub at AED 8,000 to cedarwood and stainless-steel versions priced at AED 32,000. On the other hand, Key focuses on the luxury segment, with residential ice baths starting at AED 30,000. In some cases, a full package — including a sauna, ice bath, and jacuzzi — can cost more than AED 70,000.
