With the onset of Dubai’s intense summer heat, outdoor workouts may no longer be the most appealing option. In response, Dubai has introduced a refreshing alternative through its summer campaign: running races held inside fully air-conditioned shopping malls.
The program kicked off with indoor running competitions and will continue across various malls until September 14. A total of eight races are planned, each hosted in safe, climate-controlled environments and open to all age groups.
The schedule of mall races is as follows:
6 July: Mirdif City Center
13 July: Ibn Battuta Mall
20 July: Dubai Hills Mall
3 August: Mall of the Emirates
10 August: Wafi Mall
17 August: Dubai Hills Mall
31 August: Dubai Festival City Mall
14 September: Dubai Hills Mall
