Abdu Rozik, a well-known singer and internet personality from Tajikistan, was arrested early Saturday morning at Dubai International Airport on allegations of theft. His management company in Dubai confirmed the incident, stating that he was detained by authorities around 5 a.m. upon arrival from Montenegro.
Details surrounding the case have not yet been released, and no official statement has been issued by UAE authorities. Abdu Rozik’s team has declined to provide further information.
At over 21 years old, Abdu Rozik is widely recognized in the region for his short stature due to a growth hormone deficiency. He holds a UAE Golden Visa and has been residing in Dubai for several years.
Rozik rose to fame through music, viral videos, and appearances on popular TV shows such as Bigg Boss 16. In 2024, he made his boxing debut at Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai and launched his restaurant brand “Habibi” in the UK.
His name had previously surfaced in a money laundering investigation in India, though he was not charged in that case. Now, with his arrest in Dubai, Abdu Rozik is once again making headlines.
