Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, has ordered the release of 2,937 prisoners from correctional facilities across the country ahead of the 54th Union Day celebrations and will cover all fines and financial penalties of these prisoners.
This initiative reflects the country’s leadership dedication to social solidarity, easing pressure on families, and providing a fresh start for the lives of released prisoners. The UAE President’s move is part of broader efforts to strengthen social stability and offer rehabilitation and reintegration opportunities for former inmates.
