The United Arab Emirates has announced the launch of the Artificial Intelligence Academy, an innovative initiative aimed at nurturing a new generation of AI leaders in the region. Established through a collaboration between the Polynom Group and the Abu Dhabi School of Management, the Academy is set to strengthen the Middle East’s position in the global AI innovation landscape.
The Academy offers a series of short-term programs designed for senior executives, high-ranking government officials, and technical specialists. These programs cover fundamental AI concepts, national AI strategies, generative AI tools, and executive-level applications, facilitating leaders’ access to various sectors.
Courses will be delivered in multiple languages, forming a foundation for broader efforts to build AI capacity across the region.
Following its initial launch, the Academy will introduce a specialized Chief AI Officer (CAIO) program — a pioneering three- to four-month course consisting of eight advanced modules. These modules focus on strategy, governance, and the deployment of AI across key industries such as finance and healthcare. Participants will engage in exclusive seminars with renowned scientists and global industry leaders, gaining firsthand insights into the latest research and innovations in areas like computer vision, large language models, AI governance, and AI ethics.
Additionally, the Academy will integrate NVIDIA technologies into select programs to accelerate real-world AI adoption across the region.
