The UAE confirmed that Wednesday, May 28, will mark the first day of the Islamic month of Dhu al-Hijjah, as the crescent moon was sighted on the evening of Tuesday.
Based on this, Eid al-Adha 2025 will be observed on Friday, June 6, as the holiday always falls on the 10th day of Dhu al-Hijjah. The Day of Arafat will be on Thursday, June 5.
Accordingly, the Eid al-Adha holidays will run from Thursday to Sunday, June 5 to 8.
