Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced that Jebel Ali Metro Station has officially been renamed to National Paints Metro Station.
Starting from July and continuing through the end of October 2025, the RTA will update all internal and external signage at metro stations to reflect the new name. The update will also be integrated into RTA’s smart digital systems, public transport apps, and onboard voice announcements before arriving at the station.
Located on the Red Line, the newly named National Paints Station sits strategically in the bustling industrial hub of Jebel Ali Free Zone. According to RTA, this station will carry the National Paints name for the next 10 years.
Abdul Mohsin Kalbat, CEO of RTA Rail Agency, stated:
“We are pleased to welcome National Paints as part of the Metro Station Naming Rights initiative. The presence of this reputable global company highlights the program’s remarkable success in attracting leading businesses from across the UAE.”
Samer Sayegh, CEO and Partner of National Paints, added:
“We are honored to acquire the naming rights of a metro station. Founded in Amman in 1969 and rooted in Sharjah since 1977, National Paints has long been a key part of the UAE’s economic and urban growth. Our presence in the Dubai Metro strengthens our position as the No. 1 paint brand in the Middle East and deepens our connection with communities we’ve proudly served for generations — and will continue to serve for generations to come.”
