As Ramadan approaches, Global Village Dubai has announced extended operating hours along with a range of special programs for visitors. During the holy month, the park will be open from 6 PM to 2 AM (Sunday to Wednesday) and from 6 PM to 3 AM (Thursday to Saturday)—one hour longer than usual.
A Spiritual Atmosphere with Unique Experiences
Global Village will be adorned with special Ramadan decorations, creating a warm and festive ambiance. A Ramadan Cannon will be placed near the main stage, firing daily at sunset to mark the time for Iftar.
This season, Global Village is also introducing “Al Malqaa at Global Village”, a gathering space for families and friends to enjoy the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan. Located at the heart of the park, between the Main Stage and Dragon Lake, this area is inspired by traditional Arabic seating, featuring floor cushions, low tables, and colorful lanterns for an authentic experience.
Live Music Performances and Exclusive Shows
Visitors can enjoy enchanting performances by the Ornina Arabic Orchestra, featuring talented musicians playing the Oud, Ney, Harp, and Violin, alongside mesmerizing Tanoura dance shows.
For younger visitors, the “Secret of the Lantern” puppet show will be performed at the Kids’ Theatre, delivering meaningful messages about kindness, generosity, and empathy. Shows will run on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 9:30 PM and 11:30 PM, and on Sundays at 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM.
Ramadan Walking Challenge with Exciting Rewards
The Ramadan Walking Challenge is another unique addition this season, encouraging visitors to explore the park while staying active. Guests can track their steps through the Global Village mobile app, and those who reach a set milestone will receive exciting rewards.
With extended hours, beautiful Ramadan decorations, and diverse entertainment options, Global Village Dubai is set to be a top destination for families and tourists during the holy month.
