Before its global release, the highly anticipated movie “Formula One” starring Brad Pitt will have its first regional screening in Abu Dhabi on June 25 (Tir 5).
Directed by Joseph Kosinski and co-starring Javier Bardem, the film is a collaboration between the Abu Dhabi Creative Media Authority, the Abu Dhabi Film Commission, and Apple Studios. The production involved 284 local crew members and 15 young interns.
“Formula One” is just one of many Hollywood projects recently filmed in Abu Dhabi. With the launch of a generous 50% cash rebate scheme starting in 2024, the Emirati capital has rapidly become a hub for international film production.
The movie features breathtaking scenes of Yas Marina Circuit and other iconic locations around Abu Dhabi, making it a must-watch for both Formula 1 fans and movie lovers. Many locals even claim to have spotted Brad Pitt at last year’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
