Today, cities such as Dubai and Abu Dhabi are experiencing one of the hottest days of the summer. Temperatures in both cities are expected to reach 43°C, with dusty winds creating unstable weather conditions.
According to AccuWeather, Dubai will see mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies. The current temperature in the early morning is reported at 35°C, but due to high humidity, the “feels-like” temperature has risen to 37°C. Overnight, temperatures are expected to drop slightly to 36°C.
Abu Dhabi is facing similar weather, with daytime temperatures reaching 43°C and nighttime temperatures dropping to around 33°C.
The UAE’s National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has forecast partly cloudy skies nationwide, with convective cloud formation likely in the eastern regions during the afternoon. Increased nighttime humidity may also lead to fog formation along western coasts and inland areas.
Winds are expected to be light to moderate in most areas, though they may strengthen in western regions, raising the risk of dust and sandstorms. Sea conditions will be calm to moderately rough.
Health authorities have advised residents to avoid outdoor exposure as much as possible, stay hydrated, and wear masks if they suffer from respiratory issues. Vulnerable groups such as children, the elderly, and outdoor workers are urged to take necessary precautions.
