A leading and reputable construction company in Dubai is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join their dynamic engineering team. This position is ideal for an individual with 5-7 years of experience in electrical and building services engineering who can work on large and complex projects.
Position Details:
Location: Dubai, UAE
Experience Required: 5 to 7 years in electrical systems for construction projects
Mandatory: DEWA (Dubai Electricity and Water Authority) approval
Employment Type: Full-time
Key Responsibilities:
Design, oversee, and implement electrical systems in building and construction projects.
Ensure compliance of all electrical systems with DEWA regulations and other local standards.
Conduct technical evaluations and periodic checks of electrical systems in ongoing projects.
Manage technical teams to ensure accurate and timely project completion.
Collaborate with mechanical, civil, and other departments to coordinate tasks and resolve technical issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues on-site, providing efficient solutions to reduce costs and improve productivity.
Prepare and submit detailed technical reports to project managers and stakeholders.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Extensive knowledge of DEWA regulations and standards for electrical installations in construction projects.
Practical experience in designing and implementing complex electrical systems (including lighting, cabling, emergency power, etc.).
Proficiency in relevant engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux).
Strong problem-solving abilities and experience managing large projects.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Time management skills to ensure tasks are completed on time and with high accuracy.
Requirements:
A relevant degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience in electrical and construction projects.
DEWA certification for electrical work in Dubai.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and strong teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
