This position seeks a skilled and motivated Automotive Technician / Race Mechanic passionate about high-performance vehicles and motorsports. You will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and enhancement of racing and road vehicles, ensuring they perform at their peak during events and for our clients. Your expertise will be pivotal to our team’s success both on and off the track.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostics on race cars and supercars to ensure optimal performance.
Perform mechanical repairs and upgrades on engines, suspensions, and braking systems.
Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement performance enhancement strategies.
Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and maintenance schedules.
Participate in race day preparations, including vehicle setup, tire changes, and post-race evaluations.
Ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored securely.
Adhere to safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an automotive technician or race mechanic, preferably in a high-performance environment.
Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
In-depth knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions, and electrical components.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, especially during race events.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a proactive approach to collaboration.
Passion for motorsports and a keen understanding of racing vehicles and their performance needs.
Relevant certifications in automotive technology or mechanical engineering are a plus.
