Job Title: Fitness Instructor

Job Description:
Provide professional, friendly, and engaging service
Supervise and ensure all fitness services, protocols, and procedures are followed
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the fitness area and equipment
Conduct periodic service checks on equipment and promptly report any issues
Plan and conduct fitness sessions, personal training, group classes, and in-service education
Maintain thorough knowledge of strength and cardio equipment and ensure proper use, alignment, and safety
Keep certifications up-to-date and pursue further knowledge and expertise
Provide excellent guest satisfaction through effective communication
Assist in the recruitment, development, and training of fitness staff
Ensure proper staffing and scheduling according to productivity guidelines
Follow departmental policies and procedures
Adhere to safety and sanitation policies
Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Previous experience as a fitness instructor
CPR and First Aid certification preferred
Certification in a fitness-related discipline preferred
Computer literate
Experience in group classes such as Aqua, HIIT, Bootcamp, Boxing, etc.
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities
Highly responsible and reliable
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to focus on guest needs and remain calm and courteous at all times
