The Harry Potter exhibition officially opens today at Manarat Al Saadiyat in Abu Dhabi, marking its first appearance in the Middle East. Coinciding with Harry Potter’s birthday, the immersive and interactive experience brings the Wizarding World to life for fans of all ages.
Visitors can explore real costumes and iconic sets from the films, brew potions, cast spells, and even test their Quidditch skills. The exhibition is designed to appeal to both long-time fans and children who are just beginning their journey into the magical universe.
Each visit begins with creating a personalized magical profile and receiving an interactive wristband. This device customizes the experience and allows guests to explore areas such as the Great Hall, Hagrid’s Hut, and the Herbology Greenhouse, along with encounters featuring a dragon, a boggart, and the golden snitch.
The behind-the-scenes section offers audio insights into costume design, magical creatures, and the special effects used in the films. Photo opportunities are available throughout, and a dedicated Harry Potter merchandise store awaits visitors at the end of the tour.
After welcoming over 37 million visitors worldwide, the exhibition now opens its doors to the Middle East. It is open daily except Tuesdays at Manarat Al Saadiyat, with ticket prices starting at 115 AED. Entry is free for children under 3, and the venue is fully wheelchair accessible.
