The World Government Summit (WGS), taking place in Dubai from February 11 to 13, will host over 200 prominent speakers, including world leaders and top entrepreneurs. Google CEO Sundar Pichai, Alibaba Chairman Joseph Tsai, and Oracle Founder Larry Ellison will be among the key participants.
Mohammed Al-Sharhan, CEO of the World Government Summit, highlighted Ellison’s presence, noting that this will be his first public speech in 15 years. Ellison is expected to unveil new initiatives and products aimed at helping governments enhance efficiency and public services.
In addition to tech industry leaders, notable figures such as David Baszucki, co-founder and CEO of Roblox, will also deliver speeches. The summit will bring together over 30 heads of state, 80 international organizations, 140 government delegations, and more than 6,000 participants.
The primary goal of this event is to strengthen global cooperation among governments, explore innovative solutions for resource management, and improve public service delivery. Additionally, technological advancements and innovation in tackling global challenges will be central themes. This year, the summit will feature 21 specialized sessions focusing on six key areas, including healthcare transformation, governance, and crisis management.
