Arriving passengers at Dubai International Airport (DXB) can enjoy a refreshing welcome this summer with complimentary soft-serve ice cream and cold drinks. The initiative is part of the Dubai Destinations summer campaign, aimed at offering a warm reception to tourists.
Brand Dubai, the creative arm of the Government of Dubai Media Office, has partnered with local brand KUHP to distribute free treats at Terminal 3. Ice cream trucks are stationed around the arrivals area to serve passengers.
The campaign also highlights Dubai’s traditional hospitality and promotes local culture. While the exact duration of the initiative has not been announced, the Dubai Destinations campaign will officially run until Thursday, July 31.
Earlier this summer, Emirates Airline also offered free ice cream and sorbet to departing passengers, a campaign that ended on July 20.
The initiative coincides with a new record in passenger traffic at DXB, with over 46 million travelers passing through the airport in the first half of 2025.
