Yesterday, images circulated on social media showing a fire at a construction project in Al Habtoor City, Dubai. The incident occurred in a building materials storage area of a structure under construction and was classified as a moderate fire.
Firefighting teams from Al Quoz station responded immediately, arriving at the scene within six minutes to begin fire containment efforts. According to a source from Dubai Civil Defense, the swift response and effective coordination allowed the field commander to announce at 2:46 PM that the fire was fully under control with no reported injuries.
After full containment, the site remained under observation for cooling procedures. It will be handed over to the relevant authorities for further investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire. A post-cooling image shows the current state of the under-construction building.
