Dubai Summer Surprises Festival Returns with AED 5 Million in Prizes Dubai Summer Surprises (DSS) 2024 will take place from June 27 to August 31, offering residents and tourists an exciting season of shopping, entertainment, and grand prizes, including a total of AED 5 million in rewards. This year’s edition will feature a grand prize of AED 5 million to be awarded on August 31. In addition, 30 gold coins, each weighing 12 grams and featuring the popular character “Modhesh,” will be given away to weekly winners. For the first time, the festival is divided into three themed phases: 1. Summer Holiday Deals (June 27 – July 17) 2. Big Summer Sale featuring discounts up to 90%, AED 1 million cash, and luxury cars 3. Back-to-School Campaign with prizes including school tuition coverage and scholarships Beyond shopping, DSS 2024 includes a wide range of entertainment, food, and musical events. Selected restaurants will offer special dishes for only AED 10 from August 1 to 31. The “DSS Gahwa Beats” program will bring live music performances to popular cafes across the city. Dubai Summer Restaurant Week, held from July 4 to 13, will see over 50 top restaurants offering curated menus at special prices. Additional highlights include hotel discounts across more than 100 properties and two-for-one tickets on over 7,500 leisure experiences and live shows. Designed for all age groups—from families and children to couples and young adults—this year’s DSS promises a complete summer experience filled with shopping, entertainment, food, and exciting rewards.
