Emaar Properties has announced that the iconic Dubai Fountain will be temporarily closed for five months. Located in front of Burj Khalifa and near Dubai Mall, the fountain is one of the UAE’s top tourist attractions.
According to Emaar, this closure is part of a comprehensive upgrade to enhance the fountain’s water choreography, lighting, and sound system. The renovation process will begin in May 2025 and is expected to be completed by the end of the year.
Mohamed Alabbar, Founder of Emaar, stated: “The Dubai Fountain is more than just a show; it is a symbol of Dubai’s spirit, where art, innovation, and emotions come together in perfect harmony. By enhancing this iconic landmark, we continue to create experiences that connect people, inspire wonder, and stand the test of time.”
With jets that shoot water up to 105 meters high and over 3,000 LED lights, the fountain delivers mesmerizing performances. Emaar has assured that once the upgrades are complete, the Dubai Fountain will return with even more captivating shows, offering visitors a more immersive and visually stunning experience.
