Dubai Airports has announced the full resumption of flight operations following a temporary suspension earlier this week. The disruption was caused by a brief closure of regional airspace, including that of Qatar, Bahrain, and Kuwait, amid rising tensions in the Middle East.
In an official statement, Dubai Airports emphasized that the safety and comfort of passengers and flight crew remain their top priority. However, authorities noted that some flights may still face delays or cancellations, and passengers are strongly advised to check for the latest updates with their respective airlines before heading to the airport.
The statement also highlighted that Dubai Airports is working closely with all airlines to ensure flights operate according to approved schedules. Due to ongoing regional uncertainties, some routes may be adjusted or redirected as necessary.
Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC)—two of the region’s busiest travel hubs—have returned to normal operations, significantly helping to stabilize international air traffic flows.
Travel Advisory:
Passengers are urged to contact their airline to confirm flight status before traveling and to arrive at the airport earlier than usual to allow for potential changes or delays
