Abu Dhabi has launched its first night beach on Hudayriyat Island, located at Marsana East Beach. This new destination offers a unique nighttime swimming experience during the hot summer months, with trained lifeguards on duty and ambient lighting to ensure safety. Visitors can enjoy comfortable seating and a variety of food options.
The night beach officially opened on Tuesday, July 1, and will remain operational until September 20. On weekdays, night swimming is allowed from sunset until 10 PM, while on weekends (Friday to Sunday) and public holidays, it will remain open until midnight.
To help beat the heat, mini water mist cooling systems have been installed. Entry to the beach requires a fee, which varies depending on the day of the visit. Admission is free for children under six.
Entry fees:
Monday to Thursday:
Adults (12+): AED 50
Children (6–11): AED 25
Friday to Sunday and public holidays:
Adults (12+): AED 100
Children (6–11): AED 50
In Dubai, night beaches are also available in Jumeirah 2, Jumeirah 3, and Umm Suqeim 1. Since 2023, these beaches have been made accessible to people with special needs. Additionally, for those looking for summer fun, Yas Waterworld in Abu Dhabi reopened to the public on July 1.
