Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, has announced the launch of a project to build 3,000 new homes aimed at supporting young families and improving their quality of life. Introduced on January 4, this initiative seeks to encourage marriage and provide sustainable living conditions for Emirati youth.
The project involves constructing modern homes in various areas of Dubai, offering a safe and stable environment for the next generation. Sheikh Mohammed emphasized that this effort is part of the government’s strategy to reduce financial and logistical barriers to marriage and promote stable family life.
In parallel, Her Highness Sheikha Hind bint Maktoum, wife of Sheikh Mohammed, introduced the “Family Program,” which includes special benefits such as 10 days of paid marriage leave for government employees, remote work options for mothers on Fridays during the first year after childbirth, and reduced monthly mortgage payments to a minimum of AED 3,333 for families earning less than AED 30,000.
This initiative reflects the UAE government’s commitment to balancing work and family life, enhancing social welfare, and ensuring the sustainability of future generations. It also highlights the Ruler of Dubai’s dedication to the well-being and stability of Emirati families.
